Catalyst Funds Announces Tom Hamel as New Head of Investment Operations

Professional with Over 30 Years of Experience Joins Alternative Financial Solutions Provider

New York, NY (February 21, 2024) – Catalyst Capital Advisors LLC, an award-winning provider of alternative and innovative investment solutions, today announced the hiring of Tom Hamel as Managing Director, Head of Investment Operations. Mr. Hamel will supervise the investment operations across Catalyst Funds, Catalyst International, Rational Funds, and Strategy Shares ETFs.

Mr. Hamel was hired in this newly created position to oversee the relationships between the organizations and their many subadvisors, manage new brokerage relationships, oversee in-house trading operations, as well as provide other general investment oversight.

Prior to joining Catalyst, Mr. Hamel served as the COO and Head of Investment Operations and Accounting at Captain Technologies. His other roles included positions at Aksia LLC, Ivy Asset Management, M.D. Sass Investor Services, J.P. Morgan, and Neuberger & Berman.
