Catalyst and Princeton Launch Floating Rate Income Fund

 In Spotlights

Senior floating rate loans have the potential to provide good levels of income while attempting to protect investors from the downside effects of increasing interest rates. The Catalyst/Princeton Floating Rate Income Fund (CFRAX, CFRCX & CFRIX) seeks to take advantage of these characteristics.

New York, NY – January 3, 2013 – Catalyst Funds, in conjunction with Princeton Advisory Group, announces the launch of the Catalyst/Princeton Floating Rate Income Fund (Tickers: (CFRAX, CFRCX & CFRIX) which seeks to take advantage of the current interest rate market by investing in a portfolio of senior floating rate corporate loans. The Fund attempts to meet the needs of investors seeking:

– Current income and preservation of capital
– Potential for additional diversification through an investment in a low duration fixed income portfolio
– Reduction of the effects of interest-rate volatility

“With interest rates at historic lows and governments around the world continuing to run deficits and print money, interest rates will most likely rise. We believe that investments in senior floating rate loans have the potential to provide good levels of income while protecting investors from the downside effects of increasing interest rates” said Munish Sood, Founder & CEO of Princeton Advisory Group and Senior Portfolio Manager of the Catalyst/Princeton Floating Rate Income Fund.

“We are very excited to be able to partner with Mr. Sood and his experienced team of investment professionals at Princeton Advisory Group in the launch of this new fund”, stated Jerry Szilagyi, Chairman of the Catalyst Funds. “I believe there is a current need in the marketplace for this type of investment”.
